Students on the new Master's degree in energy and communications infrastructure have the opportunity to design and undertake an offshore seabed survey, whilst on a Marine Institute vessel off the Irish coast. The students take part in a variety of multi-disciplinary areas including: oceanography, benthic ecology and geophysics.

An exciting new exhibition of work by design students at AIT will open this evening at the Abbey Road Gallery, Athlone. “In Orbit ” will be officially opened by artist Shane Cullen and will run until 7 May.
