William Meaney

Lecturer in Business Accounting and Strategic Implementation

A lecturer at the Athlone Institute of Technology with a Master’s degree of Business Administration from the Heriot-Watt University Ricarton, Edinburg, and a BSc in Management from Trinity College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Education also from Trinity College Dublin. Having trained in this area of study I worked as Lecturer in various colleges for professional accounting examination ACCA/CIMA, Masters in Business University of Hull and also in the Association of Business Executives and also taught students in Math’s and Business subjects. I have also worked as a credit controller sales and marketing manager with a gainful experience in management of credit control and preparation of financial and management accounting which has helped me add real life experience to my teaching career in delivery of courses, preparation and correction of exams and development of new courses.

Financial Sustainability consultant for the World Health Organization. Involved in reviewing the strategic effectiveness of Vaccination and Immunization Programs and provision of Costing and Financing of health initiatives to the ministry of Health, the Global Alliance for Vaccinations and immunization Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for Sierra Leone, Gambia, Eritrea, Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya over the period 2003 to 2010.

I also completed a comprehensive review of Global Funding for vaccinations for WHO in 2007.
