Tom Bennett

Tom completed a Degree in Electronic Engineering at National University of Ireland Galway. The main subject areas were Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Digital Signal Processing, Communications Systems Engineering, Applied Software Engineering, Industrial Management, Power Electronics. He worked as a researcher in NUIG in the area of Research in Biomedical Engineering, and the development of electronics expertise to help advance Biomedical technology.

I have completed training courses in the Cisco networking academy in CIT and am a Certified CISCO CCNA instructor. I have also completed a training course in Birmingham CISCO networking academy in the area of computer network security and am a certified CISCO CCNA Security instructor CISCO networking academy. I have worked delivering these courses as part of the undergraduate cohort in AIT and also as night courses in conjunction with the department of lifelong learning in AIT. He is involved in some research projects in the area of electronics and communications, and was co-supervisor for a masters project in 2012-14. He is currently completing a masters degree in Higher education at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
