Sinead Purtill

Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Sport and Exercise Psychology

Completed a B.A. (Phys. Ed) in Physical Education and Mathematics in 1994 at the University of Limerick. Continued to graduate from the University of Sheffield in 1996 with a M. Med. Sci. in Sport and Exercise Science. Took up the position as Physical Education Officer in UCC in 1995 and Sports Officer at AIT in 1996. Whilst working in AIT completed a Ph.D. in 2005 in Exercise Psychology and Health Promotion from the University of Limerick.

Delivered Health and lifestyle lectures as part of CPD credits for the Law Society 2007-2012.

External examiner and course advisor for IT Blanchardstown 2008-2014.

External panel member for IT Tralee in 2008 for the ratification of the B.Sc. in Health and Leisure (Sports Massage).
