Through my interpersonal skills I subscribe to an approach that creates valuable and positive changes in social ecosystems. I strive to enhance motivation, morale and performance of everyone through a variety of mechanisms such as connecting with the person’s identity and the collective identity of their organization, if appropriate. I endeavour at all times to inspire others and I challenge positively, people to take greater ownership and pride in their work.

At present I am the main supervisor for a student completing her PhD on: An Examination of the Factors Affecting the Health and Wellbeing of Centenarians Living in Ireland. This work has also shown me the importance of social wellbeing for the older person.
