(@celine_peignen) BA, PGDip MLS, PGDip FFLis the Deputy Librarian and has
been a member of the Athlone Institute of Technology Library for over ten
years. She has worked in a variety of roles and was the Assistant Librarian
for Reader Services and Health Sciences prior to this appointment. She has a
particular interest in Information Literacy, Digital Literacy and Teaching
and Learning. Her previous experiences working with International Students as
an information coordinator in the AIT International Office and as a lecturer
in Life Skills, Communications and French have given her a comprehensive
understanding of the Irish Higher Education Landscape and adequate knowledge
to further develop services for all library stakeholders. She is a member of
the LIR committee and the WRSLAI committee.
