Barry O’Loughlin

Employed at AIT since December 2001. Prior to that I served with the Irish Defence Forces for 12 years including a 7 month overseas mission to Lebanon. During the last four years of my military career including my trip overseas I worked in an IT role and undertook a number of Oracle training courses. Completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Software Development at Galway Regional Technical College in 1997. Completed an MSc. In Applied Computing & Information Technology by research in NUIG in 2004. My research interests include web server load balancing and the use of technology in education.
