Anne Marie is a science lecturer in Athlone Institute of Technology and has been in academia since 2006. Anne Marie’s MSc and PhD are in Toxicology and Biochemistry. She has worked in Hammersmith hospital, London and for the Health Service Executive in Ireland. She is currently in the process of obtaining accreditation as a consultant-trainer in Team-Based Learning (TBL).

Anne Marie is on the executive committee of the Irish Society of Toxicology. She chairs the AIT digital Badge committee and is a founder member of the SURE network (an undergraduate research network) in Ireland. She has chaired numerous committees within SURE and assisted in organising a number of national conferences. She is currently Chair of the SURE Digital badge and TBL committee.
