Technology Transfer

SUPPORTING TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

The overall Technology Transfer strategy for AIT is to generate a return on public investment in research, innovation and enterprise development by supporting the generation of high-potential start-ups and actively collaborating with existing companies, both SMEs and MNC’s, through market-informed applied research projects and knowledge transfer. AIT’s TT activity sits within an ecosystem which includes licensing, spin-out creation and start-up support.

AIT has considerable experience in working with companies on collaborative research and innovation projects, from schemes such as innovation vouchers and innovation partnerships through to industry co-funded postgraduate research projects.
