    Medical Emergencies AIT

Serious Injuries or Illness (i.e. Medical Emergencies) will need the attendance of National Ambulance Service and there are a number of Institute supports in place to provide first aid treatment, and or registered Nurse treatment until the arrival of the paramedics.

    First Aid

The first aid measures implemented by the Institute include an appropriate number of staff trained in First Aid, the provision of adequate levels of first aid equipment, the provision of a Student Health Centre staffed by a registered nurse and the campus emergency response team which are available to provide assistance in medical emergencies.
