Campus Watch

A Campus Watch group operates in conjunction with the local gardai and residents associations. The committee has representation from all sections of the Institute and the Student’s Union. The aim of the Campus Watch Commitee is to make the Institute and surrounding areas more secure for students in which to live, work and study. Therefore, any unlawful activity should be reported to any member of the group, which is representative of management, staff, students of the Institute, local residents and the Garda Síochána. Crime is a reality in everyday life and if you leave something unreported, it may happen to someone else who could be unable to deal with it.

The Campus Watch Coordinator is Sarah La Cumbre and the Garda Liaison Officer is Garda Kieran Fitzgerald.
