Whether you’re applying through the CAO for September 2018 or will be doing so in the next year or two, AIT’s open day is the perfect opportunity to learn more about college opportunities in Athlone.

For current year applicants, you’ll discover more about the programmes you’re applying for. You can ask about placements with employers, opportunities to study overseas, as well as talk to students who are already studying on the courses you’re interested in.

Read about our Industry Focussed Undergraduate Courses..

AIT offers 55 undergraduate programmes at higher certificate (level 6), ordinary degree (level 7) and honours degree (level 8) through the Central Applications Office (CAO). Details of these programmes are featured on our Courses page. Opportunities are available through the ladder route, as well as direct ab initio offerings.

In addition to these programmes, a wide variety of add-on opportunities exist for students to progress their education to honours degree level. Application to these programmes is directly to AIT’s Admissions Office.

Come Visit Our Award Winning Campus

Guidance Counsellors, teachers, parents and students, would you like an AIT representative to visit your school? Every year, the student recruitment team visits hundreds of post primary schools around the country giving presentations to Transition year, 5th year and 6th year students. Our presentation gives a detailed overview of the 55 degree programmes available, the facilities and support services available at AIT.
