Campus Open Days

Whether you’re applying through the CAO for September or will be doing so in the next year or two, TUS’s open days are the perfect opportunity to learn more about university life in Athlone.

For current year applicants, you’ll discover more about the programmes you’re applying for.

You can ask about placements with employers, opportunities to study overseas, as well as talk to students who are already studying on the courses you’re interested in.

Industry-Focused CAO Courses

TUS Athlone campus offers 65+ undergraduate programmes at higher certificate (level 6), ordinary degree (level 7) and honours degree (level 8) through the Central Applications Office (CAO).

Opportunities are available through the ladder route, as well as direct ab initio offerings.

In addition to these programmes, a wide variety of add-on opportunities exist for students to progress their education to honours degree level.

Application to these programmes is directly to our Admissions Office.

Campus Tours and School Visits

Guidance counsellors, teachers, parents and students, would you like a TUS representative to visit your school?

Every year, our student recruitment team visits hundreds of post primary schools around the country giving presentations to transition year, 5th year and 6th year students.

Our presentation gives a detailed overview of the degree programmes available, the facilities and support services available at TUS Athlone campus.

Guidance counsellors and teachers can book a school visit by contacting us, and we will try and accommodate your schedule.
