Why take this course?

This course aims to provide participants with the skills necessary to teach English as a Foreign Language, effectively plan lessons and manage students in a classroom environment.

This course is being offered in conjunction with Galway Language Centre, who also provide the certification for this programme. (HDip or BEd qualified or about to qualify teachers will get Department of Education SQTTEFL certification)

What will I experience?

English Grammar and Vocabulary, Teaching Methodology, Classroom Observation, Lesson Planning.

What opportunities might it lead to?

​On completion individuals will be competent enough to teach English as a foreign language.
