Career Prospects

Upon completion of this degree, the dental nurse will be appropriately equipped to lessen the workload of the dentist by taking on the business-related tasks, assisting with the decision-making process in relation to practice management issues, while supporting and enhancing the quality of the dental healthcare provision.

Graduates of this programme will also be able to seek employment in areas associated with the dental industry. For example, they will have a practical knowledge of marketing and sales enabling them to work for companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, Promed, GlaxoSmithKline and Dental Supply Ireland.
