There is an ever-increasing demand from industry for highly trained toxicologists to ensure that products are safe and that they satisfy regulatory standards. This add-on honours degree aims to meet the demands of regulatory authorities for qualified personnel to ensure that products released onto the market comply with national, EU and international standards which are constantly being updated and strengthened.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Graduates with a Bachelor of Science (Level 7) in a cognate discipline or an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply to join this programme.
Modules
Mechanistic Toxicology, Toxicity Testing Methods, Pharmacology and Immunology, Cell and Molecular Toxicology, Regulatory Affairs, Project.
Progression
AIT’s qualifications in toxicology have acquired an excellent reputation nationally and internationally and cooperative projects have been established with many universities that facilitate the process of entrance to postgraduate courses. A taught Master of Science in Toxicology is offered by AIT.
