This one-year, add-on Bachelor degree will enable you to demonstrate specialised knowledge related to general business and the equine industry. You will learn how to use diagnostic skills to identify problems of a business or equine nature, and acquire the capacity to provide informed, innovative, ethical solutions to such problems. The course provides the opportunity for a high-level knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of systematic coaching and instruction.

From the business angle, you will learn to assess success and failure and to analyse the impact of key external and internal factors on organisational progress. You will be expected to demonstrate a critical understanding of the behavioural aspects of individual and group interaction. This course will also develop your communication and team-working skills, which will aid your future career development and progress. Should you so choose, this degree will give you the necessary background and expertise to pursue further academic studies in related disciplines.

 

Minimum Entry Requirements

Higher Certificate in Business in Equine Studies (Level 6) or an approved equivalent qualification.

International Marketing and Sales Management, Enterprise Development and Management, Equine Managerial Finance, Equine Exercise Science, Equestrian Competition,

Semester 2

Principles of Teaching Equitation, International Marketing and Sales Management, Enterprise Development and Management, Equine Managerial Finance, Advanced Equine Health and Disease, Equine Sports Coaching, Equestrian Competition, Equine Yard Management & Event Organisation.
