Students in Athlone Institute of Technology from the Culinary Arts degree programme showcased their new food products on the 21 April 2016. Their work, the result of months of preparation is one of the core projects of the ‘new food product development’ modules offered here at the Institute. The programme coordinators, John Lydon and Kevin McLoughlin facilitate student’s work through the stage-gate innovation process to initially come up with the ideas, then use the excellent facilities on offer here in AIT to develop and produce products that are ready for public analysis.

On Friday, April 15, 2016, the Faculty of Science and Health at AIT is hosting The 2016 Eurachem Analytical Measurement Competition (EAMC 2016). The Eurachem Analytical Measurement Competition was initiated in 1999 and is promoted by Eurachem Ireland, the Institutes of Technology (IOTs) and the Universities across Ireland.
